We do not want to sell these kits to just anyone. The people that will get the most benefit from these kits are either handy men that want to save thousands on the normal costs of installing airconditioning by doing most of the labour work themselves or the person that would like to buy everything for the tradesman so that it is there and they can reduce the retailers margins . Either way we find people are saving between $500.00 to $2000.00 on their ducted systems being installed.
There is a good reason why you use a company to look after everything from start to finish. They can give you the right advice on the correct airconditioning for your home. They take all responsibility for the installation(well most of them do). They hold your hand through the whole experience. That is why sometimes they charge you up to $3000.00 extra for this advice & responsibility.
But, if you believe that you are a good handyman, and that you have selected the right system for your needs (we can give you some free advice on the selection of your system.) then let us save you money on keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.

I have given an approximate guide as to the area that these units will aircondition. It is accurate around 80% of the time but it will vary depending on the construction of your house, the amount of glass and the aspect of the sun.
Also I would like to say that these units are quite straight forward to install but it is illegal to connect up the electrical wiring or to commission the airconditioner. I strongly advise that you phone a tradesman to do this for you. In most cases it will probably cost around $400.00 - $550.00 to have the installation checked over ,wired and commissioned.
This is a small price to pay to stay safe and protect your warranty.

Thank you Ian, I had three companies quote me on installing a ducted system in my home. The cheapest one was $7,500.00 and the highest was $9,000.00. Your advice was fantastic, the installation was so easy, I cant believe I did it and neither can my friends! All up your kit cost me $4,800.00 and I got a tradesman to finish off the refrigeration and electrical bits for $550.00.

We just wanted to thank you for all of your assistance and advice during the purchase of our ducted air system. We just cannot believe how much money we saved. We had several quotes and they were all around $6500 to $7000 for a small 3 bedroom single storey house. One of our friends referred us to his mate who is an air con installer. He gave us a great price to supply and install one of his systems. However, while he was trying to find the best deal for us, we came across your website and I asked Ian all sorts of questions on the Live Person chat room. This was excellent as I was able to get an instant reply. When the installer came back to us with his quote, we showed him the details of the kit and asked him how much he would charge for installation only instead. He was bowled over by the price as it was cheaper than he could get a similar system for at his trade price. So we ordered the system and he helped us install it last week. Everything went really smoothly the installer was quite surprised at the quality of the fittings and he is keen to contact you himself to buy systems for other clients.
I strongly encourage anyone to consider this option . The system is very straight forward and easy to put together. Even though we had an installer help us with the whole lot and charged us for a full days work, we still saved almost $2000. But anyone can do the easy bits and save even more by just getting a qualified person to check it over and hook it up to validate the warranty.
