Can Central Air Conditioning Add Value To My Home?

I know it seems like a scary decision to put airconditioning into your home. it is a large investment, and many people ask me the question, does this airconditioning installation add value to my home?

I then answer the question with a question. I ask them, If you were looking at a home that you liked that had central airconditioning and then look at another home of similair price and that home does not have ducted air throughout the home, which home would you feel more inclined to purchase?" The one with the air conditioning system of course. As to the question of does it add value well the answer is that is generally adds a higher percieved value to the home. you know what i mean, the thoughts go throguh your head "Oh , wont it be lovely never to worry about the temeprature outside ever again. I can be warm and cosy or cool and calm.

This leads me to the conclusion that in my opinion, if you install a ducted airconditioning system into your home you will increas the value of your home, and at the very least, make it a lot easier to sell.
